There are a lot of considerations your child needs to make when deciding which art school and which art program is best for them.


There are a lot of questions for your child to consider ask your parents if you can help support and guide her child and I understand that this is a very stressful time in their life.

It's normal for your child feel anxious scared or over while they are making a very big black decision after all!

This can be a difficult decision and it's a lot easier and less stressful if this process is started earlier.



There are visual arts careers as well as art related careers like architecture.


It is helpful for your child to think about what career do they want in the future.The list of careers gives your child a starting point where they can then highlight our careers that they are interested and then they can do a little bit of research and determine if this art career would be a good fit for their future.



Once they have decided on their art career or visual related arts career then they can determine where exactly they want to go to school.


If your child has already decided on an art school or art program but they are excited about applying to you then you have probably begun to research the admission requirements. A lot of art schools and university art program or college art program request an art portfolio application to be submitted as part of that school admission process.



This admissions process of creating an art portfolio can add an extra layer of stress and more time that your student needs to take to complete the submission process.
